LiuApp is designed as a private digital space for parents and children.

We value privacy and data protection. LiuApp does not use personal data for advertising, analytics, or tracking purposes.

1. Account & Authentication

Users sign in using their Google account.

The user's email address is used solely as an account identifier to enable authentication and secure audio sharing.

Email addresses are not used for advertising or marketing purposes.

2. Server Communication & Audio Transmission

When users share audio recordings, files are securely transmitted through LiuApp servers to deliver the recording to the intended recipient.

Audio files are processed temporarily for transmission purposes only and are not permanently stored on LiuApp servers.

LiuApp does not access, analyze, or use audio content beyond enabling secure delivery.

3. Information We Do Not Collect

LiuApp does not collect personal data for advertising, profiling, or tracking purposes.

We do not sell user data to third parties.

4. Audio Recordings

Audio recordings created in the app are stored:

• locally on the user's device, and/or
• in the user's private iCloud container (if iCloud sync is enabled).

The developer does not have access to recordings stored on user devices or in private iCloud storage.

5. Microphone Access

LiuApp requests access to the microphone solely for recording personal audio content within the app.

6. Bluetooth Usage

• LiuApp uses Bluetooth to enable secure pairing and communication between devices within a Family Group.
• Bluetooth is used only to connect trusted family devices for remote audio control.
• No data is transmitted to external servers via Bluetooth.

7. Background Activity

• LiuApp may use Background App Refresh to maintain device pairing and allow remote audio control within a Family Group.
• Background activity is limited to maintaining secure communication between trusted devices.

8. Notifications

• LiuApp may send local notifications to inform users about family device activity and newly received audio recordings.
• Notifications are not used for marketing purposes.

9. Family Group & Access Control

Access to a child's device is restricted to members of a Family Group. A designated Parent (Owner) controls:

• which devices are connected
• who is granted access
• remote audio management permissions

Only approved family members can control playback on a child's device.

10. Content Sharing & Digital Signature

Audio recordings created within LiuApp may be securely shared with other LiuApp users.

Each recording created in the app is cryptographically signed to ensure authenticity and integrity. This digital signature helps prevent modification and confirms the original creator of the recording.

Only recordings created by the user can be shared. Audio files that were:

• imported from external sources, or
• received from another user

cannot be re-shared through LiuApp.

11. Children's Privacy

• LiuApp does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
• All content remains within the private family environment.

12. Data Sharing

LiuApp does not use third-party analytics, advertising SDKs, or tracking tools.
